NIH Team Lead, Clinical Research Policy
Lydia Kline, MPH, MS, serves as Team Lead, Clinical Research Policy in the National Institutes of Health’s Office of Science Policy (OSP), where she oversees a portfolio that includes regulatory and policy issues related to research involving human subjects. Since 2018, she has advised the OSP and NIH Directors on the importance and impact of the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) for NIH research, working as part of a three-person team to identify and address GDPR-related challenges to collaborative research with European partners. She has additional experience in bioethics, clinical research and public health capacity building, and health and human rights.
