My research interests lie in gendered constitutionalism in postcolonial (African) contexts, and African feminism(s). My PhD research was titled 'The role of the judiciary in constitution making: The two-thirds gender principle in Kenya'. I have a particular interest in the role of courts, women's movements and women judges.
